三．知识点整理
1．Anyway, I suppose I will have to let you have it. [ anyway 意为“无论如何，不管怎样”，常用于口语中，意思是“好吧，总之，话又说回来，反正，然而，究竟，到底”等
2．May you/ he/ they…do sth. 常用来表是希望，祝愿。（注意动词原形）May you succeed
3．If I hear another word from you, you will go where it is really cold. [where 引导地点状语从句，意思是“在……地方，倒……地方，无论什么地方”。 where / wherever 可置于possible 或necessary 等形容词之前，其含义为when/ whenever. Help must be given where necessary.
4. I can quickly adapt myself to new circumstances. [adapt oneself to…]
5. they are strong enough to face nay challenge. [形容词/副词＋enough +to do…]
6. The stronger the motivation is, the more quickly a person will learn a foreign language. [The more…, the more… 越……， 越……]
7． in charge (of) 主管，负责，in the charge of =under the charge of 在……主管之下，take charge (of)负责，主管，
8. He is to blame for the accident. 这起事故全怪他。【be to blame 主动表被动】

10． care for 喜爱，照顾；care about 在乎，喜欢，对……有兴趣，关心；take care 当心，注意；take care of 爱护，照料
11．leave /let sb. alone 别打扰（管，理，惹）某人，让…一人待着； let alone 更不用说 stand alone 突出
12． admit 用法
(1) He admitted me into their club. (允许进入，使能进入)
(2) The theatre only admits 1000 people. （容纳得下）
(3) 作“承认”解，后面跟从句、名词、代词、动名词、复合结构
He admits having done it. / You must admit the task to be difficult.
12. stick at 坚持做， stick down 贴好， stick it out 坚持到底，stick out 伸出，突出， stick to 坚持……
13．表示“焦虑”的词
be anxious about (for) 为…担忧， be anxious to do sth 极想做某事， be eager for 盼望，想得到，be eager to do sth. 渴望做某事， be worried about …为……发愁（着急）， be curious about 对……好奇
14． at risk 处于危险之中， take/ run a risk 冒危险， take/ run the risk of…冒……的危险
注意：rish作动词，后可跟动名词作宾语。 They risk losing everything.
