Step One: compare t heir preview works among the same level. 
T : 1. Draw a check table on the blackboard.
2. Listen to the report from the winners. Try to find out how they
preview, and then sum up .
3. Show the aims for students to choose.
(At the same time, students get into the next step gradually, one after another)
Step Two: Learn by themselves. 
1. Make a conversation like 1a,and share it with yo ur partners;
2. Read and answer the questions in 2c.
3. Find the superlatives in the passage, and remember them.
  Make at least four sentences like this:
  In my class, Tom is the best singer because…
4. Do you have any problems in understanding the passage? Discuss with your group members.
5. Read the passage aloud. Try to be fluent, and make sure your pron unciation is correct.
Step Three: Exploration between teachers and stud ents. It’ s always interesting to watch other people show their tal ents.

Ask Ss to make sentences using the superlatives in this passage according to the example in 2d.
