sugge st用作动词，其主要用法有：

(2)suggest doing sth.意为“建议做某事”。如：
He suggested going fishing this afternoon.他建议今天下午去钓鱼。
(3)suggest sb./ one’s doing sth.意为“建议某人做某事”。如：
You should suggest him/his giving up smoking.你应该建议他戒烟。
(4)suggest还可以用作动词，意为“暗示；表明”，常用于suggest＋that从句。如：
His words suggested that he was unhappy.他的话暗示他不高兴。
