一、教学三维目标
1.知识与技能:
1.能用现在进行时的各种形式进行准确的描述和表达正在发生的动作。
2.能掌握现在进行时态及一些表示具体动作的词组搭配,如watch tv, read books, play soccer, talk with/ to , be boring, go to the movies, want to do sth.等。
3.能在日常生活中恰当理解和运用本单元的话题范围内的单词和习惯用语。
2.过程与方法:
1.现在进行时是学生刚刚接触的一种新的语法项目,而本单元的话题源自生活,立足这一点,我充分利用学生已有的知识和生活经验,创设生活化的真实情境(或半真实情境)引导学生在运用语言中学习语言,然后在学习新的语言知识后创造性地运用语言(为用而学, 在用中学,学了就用)。
2.开展多种类型的任务型活动,提供给学生合作交流的空间和时间,促使学生为完成任务和同学进行合作,为完成任务进行探究性学习。
3.情感态度与价值观:
通过对本单元的任务性活动,能培养同学间的友好相处,规范自己的行为,同时能提高他们的观察能力和判断能力,激发他们对学习英语的兴趣和热情,在接近生活常态的交际中能乐于模仿,敢于开口,积极参与,主动请教。

1.学生能熟练地运用新学词汇和短语谈论人们正在干什么。
2.现在进行时中现在分词的结构及读音 。

step 1 revision
show some sports pictures and ask:
do you like playing basketball?
do you like swimming? etc.
step 2 presentation
1.call out a student and ask:
t: what sport do you like?
s: i like .... ( ask him/her to give an action about the sport.)
then ask: what are you doing? help him/her to answer: i’m playing...
ask the whole class: what’s he doing? help them to answer: he/she is playing...
have the student repeat.
2.make more actions to teach them to learn present progressive tense and the new words: cleaning, reading, talking on the phone, doing homework, writing a letter, watching tv, eating dinner, drawing a picture, etc. ask and answer like this:
t: what am i doing?
ss: you’re cleaning/...
3.use pictures (draw them before class) or courseware. ask them to talk about the pictures in pairs.
s1: what is he/she doing now?
s2: he/she is watching tv/dancing/reading/ cleaning/...
s3: what are they doing now?
s4: they’re eating dinner/playing... etc.
sing—singing / watch—watching / play—playing /...
step 3 acting and guessing
ask some students to make some actions in front.
1.t ask: what is he doing? is he playing basketball?
ss answer: yes, he is./ no, he isn’t. he’s playing soccer.
2.ss ask, t answer.
3.divide the class into halves, asking and answering in halves.
4. ask them to make actions and practise the drill in pairs.
5. do section a 2c in pairs, then the whole class.
step 4 practice
1. show some pictures and make the students ask and answer in pairs.
e.g. what are you doing? i am eating.
what is he doing ? he is eating.
what are they doing? they\'re eating.
2. practice section a 1a
3.help the ss to find out the structure of the present progressive tense.
主语 + am/ is / are+ 动词的现在分词(培养学生归纳能力,找出记忆的规律。)
step 5 listening
do 1b in section a. follow this way:
1.what are the people doing?
2.write numbers from 1a below.
3.check the answers in pairs like this:
a: what is jenny doing? b: she is watching tv.
a: what are dave and mary doing? b: they are eating dinner.
a: what is john doing? b: he is doing homework.
step 6 group work
get the ss to ask and answer in groups of four.
e.g. what are you doing? i am talking.
what is he/ she doing? he/ she\'s talking.
is he/ she talking?
yes, he/ she is. / no, he/ she isn\'t. etc.
(这样的活动既可以培养学生的合作意识,又能在情景中用现在进行时交际,巩固了本节课的重点,从而突破了难点,促使学生在学习过程中学会细心观察。)
step 7 general training
show the exercises on the projection machine, and get the ss to do in class.
i. change the words into its “ing” form. (将下列词转变为“ing” 形式)
