To start with we shall make a review of “used to.
used to do结构, 过去惯常, 以前习惯于We used to grow peanuts. 我们过去是种花生的。
verB: habitually do something (use only in the past tense) (Example: 'She used to call her mother every week but now she calls only occasionally')
