代词在近几年高考试题中出现频率很高，每年至少测试一道题，大有增多的趋势。测试代词的题型主要是单项填空，常以对话形式构成特定语境，考查考生灵活运用代词的能力，并且常和this、that、one等在一起考查。常考点主要为人称代词、指示代词、不定代词、代词的肯定与否定以及代词表示全部与部分的用法等。今年高考命题将继续加大对代词在具体、特定语境下灵活运用力度的考查。下面就指示代词it 的用法简要总结一下。 
★热点一：用作人称代词，代替前文提到过的事物

■【It用法专项训练答案及简析】 
1.答案：A。it在下面的两中情况下可以指人：一是指婴儿，二是确认某人的身份和情况。 
2.答案D。分析句子结构可以知道，该句是有转折连词 but连接的并列分句，故首先排除选项C（注意：如句中没有连词 but，可用关系代词which引导非限制性定语从句）。要注意理清句子的结构，分析选项代词所指代内容。 
3.答案：D。no more than one表示“只有一部车”，只能买那一部，所以第一空应填it；第二空表泛指，所以要用one。 
4.答案：D。this有时可以用来指“下文说的话”;one为不定代词,用来代替上文出现过的单数可数名词;it为人称代词, 用于指代上文提到的某一事物。that常用来代替上文出现的不可数名词,有时还可以代替前面所说的情况。 
5.答案：D。There be句型。 
6.答案：B。it代替下文that引导的从句。 
7.答案：B。尽管含有否定前缀dis-，含本句仍然是个肯定句，所以反意问句部分应该用否定形式。主语是个从句，应用it代替。 
8.答案：A。one代替上文的a repair shop，表泛指。 
9.答案：C。因为两个空不是指同一支钢笔，第一空指丢了的钢笔，上文提过用儿第二空指新买了一支，用one表示。 
10.答案D。分析句子意思可以知道，选项代词所指代的名词为computers，且为特指，故应选the ones (=those)， 相当于the computers。要根据句子意思，推断选项代词的句中具体名词，作出正确选择。 
11. 答案：D 
12.答案：B。It is no wonder that句型，句意为：难怪他今天看起来如此高兴。 
13.答案：C。本句用it指代上文提到的another novel，用情态动词should/ought to表示推测与判断，“理应，应该”。 
14．答案：C。 
15. 答案：A。考查代词的用法。根据语境，第一空用it指代前面提到的“只有一个MP3播放器”，第二空用one表示“到其他商店找一个”。
